Uninstall hivemux from your Mac
Run hivemux uninstall to remove hivemux. It deletes the hivemux blocks from ~/.tmux.conf, the Ghostty config and ~/.zshrc, removes the hivemux hooks from Claude Code settings, and closes the sidebars. Your own config stays; saved layouts and backups stay in ~/.local/share/hivemux.
Remove the configuration
Section titled “Remove the configuration”hivemux uninstallThis:
- removes the block between
# >>> hivemux >>>and# <<< hivemux <<<from~/.tmux.conf,~/.config/ghostty/configand~/.zshrc - removes the hivemux hooks from
~/.claude/settings.json, leaving your other hooks alone - removes
remoteControlAtStartupfrom Claude Code settings if hivemux setup turned it on - closes the sidebars in a running tmux (restart tmux to drop the remaining key bindings)
